Web Development - Internship

About the internship:Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Build and edit WordPress websites primarily using the Divi Theme and Divi Builder.

2. Convert approved designs, mockups, and references into functional web pages.

3. Build landing pages, home pages, service pages, about pages, contact pages and other marketing pages.

4. Ensure websites are properly optimised for desktop, tablet and mobile.

5. Maintain consistent typography, spacing, colours, buttons, forms and visual hierarchy across the website.

6. Configure and customise Divi modules, sections, rows, global elements and templates.

7. Use basic HTML and CSS when Divi's standard settings are not sufficient.

8. Create and manage website forms using tools such as WPForms and connect forms with required marketing/CRM workflows.

9. Upload and optimise website images, icons and other media.

10. Implement basic on-page SEO requirements such as page titles, headings, URLs, alt text and internal links based on instructions from the SEO team.

11. Assist with website speed, image optimisation, caching and general performance improvements.

12. Test websites across different screen sizes and browsers before launch.

13. Work on staging websites and safely push approved changes to production.

14. Perform routine WordPress updates, backups and basic troubleshooting.

15. Fix layout issues, broken links, formatting problems, and minor WordPress errors.

16. Coordinate with designers, SEO executives, content writers, and performance marketers while building pages.

17.
