Business Development (Sales) - Internship

About the internship:WriterOnRent is looking for a Business Development (Sales) intern to learn the full sales cycle hands-on and help grow our content, web, and digital marketing business across India. If the chase of finding new clients, the thrill of a closed deal, and the long game of growing an account excite you, this internship trains you in all three with direct mentorship from the founders.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Generating leads through cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, and calls, and helping build and qualify a steady sales pipeline

2. Shadowing and supporting discovery calls and pitches, and assisting in preparing proposals for prospective clients

3. Supporting account management staying in touch with existing clients, flagging upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and assisting with retention

4. Stipend Structure:

Fixed pay: ₹ 7,500 - 10,000 /month

Incentive pay: ₹ 10,000 - 25,000 /month
