Chemist

Role: Responsible for testing and analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with defined quality and food safety standards. Responsibility : • Conduct chemical and physical testing of RM, PM, in-process and finished products as per approved specifications and test methods. • Test parameters such as pH, TSS, acidity, moisture, viscosity, colour, density, salt, sugar and other applicable parameters. • Collect, identify, handle and store samples as per defined procedures. • Operate, clean and maintain laboratory instruments and ensure timely calibration/verification. • Maintain laboratory chemicals, reagents, standard solutions and testing materials properly. • Record test results accurately and immediately report out-of-specification results or deviations. • Maintain laboratory records, test reports, COA and sample traceability. • Support investigation of quality deviations, customer complaints, product trials and process validation. • Follow GMP, GLP, food safety, laboratory hygiene and safety requirements. • Ensure safe handling, storage and disposal of chemicals, samples and laboratory waste.
