About the job:As a Video Editor at DomainRacer, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and technical skills in video editing, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, audio editing, AI video generation, and video making. We are looking for a talented individual who can bring our marketing videos to life and engage our audience through compelling visual content. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Makes dialogue clear and professional; removes noise, reverb, and uneven volume.

2. Colour Grading - Shapes mood, consistency, and cinematic feel of the video.

3. Background Removal

4. How & When AI Is Used in Editing

5. Best used for repetitive/technical tasks and high-volume content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok).

6. Storytelling - Short-form needs compressed story structures that deliver value fast.

8. Script Writing - One clear idea per video.

9. Editing Samples with Fixed Time Ratios (Pacing)

10. Good communication prevents wasted work and builds long-term clients.

11. Reels / Video Editing Types

1. Collaborating with the marketing team to develop video concepts and storyboards

2. Editing raw footage to produce high-quality videos that align with our brand guidelines

3. Enhancing video and audio quality using editing software and tools

5. Keeping up to date with industry trends and implementing innovative video editing techniques

6. Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
