Software Engineer Intern

About the role

You will join a delivery team and contribute small, production-shaped increments with support from a senior engineer. The internship covers design, implementation, testing, code review and written handover.

What you will do

Implement scoped frontend and backend tasks from acceptance criteria.

Write automated tests and fix issues found during review.

Participate in stand-ups, demos and pull-request reviews.

Document APIs, setup steps and technical decisions.

Eligibility and education

Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related discipline.

Foundational data structures, programming and web-development knowledge.

A GitHub repository, coursework project or deployed application is strongly encouraged.

Required skills

JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals.

React, REST APIs, Git and basic database concepts.

Ability to explain technical choices and respond constructively to review.

Good to have

Node.js, Next.js, automated testing or cloud deployment exposure.

Contribution to a collaborative or open-source project.
