We are looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee operations in our workshop. The ideal candidate will ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently while managing the team. Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee the daily activities in the machine shop to ensure production goals are met and quality standards are maintained.- Manage Team Performance: Lead and support shop personnel, providing guidance and training to enhance skills and efficiency.- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality checks to ensure all finished products meet the required specifications and standards.- Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all machinery is well-maintained and safe to operate, coordinating repairs and service schedules as necessary.- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of materials and tools, placing orders as needed to ensure continuous operations without delays.- Safety Compliance: Promote a safe working environment by ensuring all team members adhere to safety regulations and best practices.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates should have a diploma in a relevant field and demonstrate a strong understanding of machining processes.
