Partner - Statutory Audit - Banking/Financial Services

Job Description:

Looking for someone who has experience in Business Development and has experience in Audit and assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and execute statutory audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio.

• Understand business processes, identify key audit risks, and design appropriate audit procedures.

• Review financial statements and assess compliance with applicable Accounting Standards/Ind AS, Companies Act, and Auditing Standards.

• Lead and supervise audit teams.

• Identify and evaluate audit findings, accounting issues, internal control deficiencies, and areas of financial reporting risk.

• Interact with client finance teams and management to discuss audit observations and resolution of issues.

• Ensure proper audit documentation, compliance with internal quality standards, and timely closure of assignments.

• Support the company or Senior Management in client management, engagement planning and Business Development.

• Contribute to process improvements and maintain high standards of audit quality and professional delivery.

• Manage multiple assignments and timelines while ensuring effective team coordination. .
